LETTER FROM CARRIER - APL ENGLAND RECOVERY AS OF 2 JUNE 2020

A3 - Central Express - APL England V093S/N – Update #3

📷Further to our previous notice of Wednesday 27thMay regarding the

vessel APL England, please note the following updates:

The vessel remains alongside at the AAT Terminal in the Port of Brisbane

Work on removal of collapsed containers commenced at 07:00 on Saturday 30th May. At this point operations continue, while we endeavour to do this as efficiently as possible, safety is always of the utmost importance so we appreciate your patience. We will keep you updated on the progress.

A further audit of impacted containers has been conducted, with impacted ANL (ANL Singapore Bill of Lading) clients advised in writing of lost overboard or damaged containers relating to their bookings.

To the best of our knowledge this list is final, however given the serious nature of this event and safety of those concerned in reviewing the damage or loss, may need to amend the list as works continue.

ANL is committed to maintaining high environmental standard throughout its operations. In line with this, debris and containers reported in NSW are being removed in as timely a manner as possible.

Schedule recovery and delivery of containers remains a key focus and we are looking to deploy additional capacity to facilitate your bookings. This includes the deployment of the Conti Courage into the A3N service. This is an 8500 TEU vessel which will make an ad hoc call in Brisbane to assist with the evacuation of containers. We will advise an indicative timeline as soon as possible.

Thank you for your patience with this matter. Should you require any further information, please contact your local account manager

ANL & CMA CGM Customer Care Centre.
